oh so people assume Muhammad Ali is greater just because of his resume??? so its not about the fact he was the fastest moving heavyweight in history??? threw the fastest combinations in heavyweight history, invented the rope-a-dope, had an iron chin, tremendous heart and will to win????? so none of that is taken into consideration???

i thought you were a more intelligent poster

Im not putting Ali down in any way. But don't act like he was the only one to do these things, because that is simply untrue.

in my opinion, except robinson, nobody is better than ali on that list.
this p4p **** goes too far now, ali had a better footwork than every1 u list there, just watch the first liston fight.

P4p isn't based on footwork, but an entire career. And while it is all subjective
I promise I can make an argument for every fighter I named and maybe a few more.

When one considers 100++ years of boxing history the gap between number one and number two is invisible. Indeed the gap between numbers one and ten is very small. It's like splitting hairs. Indeed an argument could be made that virtually any of the boxers in the top ten could be considered for the top spot..

                    Exactly! Its apples and oranges.

HAHHAHHAHAH....sorry mate i didn't mean to laugh....your opinion is your opinion and i have to respect that....if you honestly believe 10 fighters are better than Ali well.......

The only fighter i rank higher than Ali is Ray Robinson and you can make a case for Henry Armstrong too......

i'm sure you've seen this list before, its the International Boxing Research Organization's Top 25 Greatest Fighters of All Time.....

                      1. Sugar Ray Robinson
                      2. Harry Greb
                      3. Henry Armstrong
                      4. Muhammad Ali
                      5. Joe Louis
                      6. Sam Langford
                      7. Roberto Duran
                      8. Benny Leonard
                      9. Willie Pep
                      10. Bob Fitzsimmons
                      11. Joe Gans
                      12. Ezzard Charles
                      13. Ray Leonard

                      15. Eder Jofre
                      16. Mickey Walker
                      17. Archie Moore
                      18. Jack Dempsey
                      19. Jack Johnson
                      20. Gene Tunney

                      24. Tony Canzoneri
                      25. Barney Ross

22 experts on boxing came to the conclusion that only 3 fighters could have been better than Ali, and you're meaning to tell me 10 fighters are better than him????

i must say i don't agree with this list either but it is as credible and subjective as it gets.....
