Mickey... short & sweet mate because i am getting bored with this argument as some of your quotes are bordering on laughable!

Yeah, facts do get boring after a while..

Greg Page had suffered a brutal KO by Mark Wills which i mentioned earlier... have you seen that fight? Yeah

Ruddock had his jaw, cheek-bone & eye socket samashed by Mike Tyson in their 2nd fight...

It has been known to happen in boxing

Phil Jackson 25-0 was a pathetic joke who had fought no-one of note.

With 23KO's and a stern test for anyone

Ruddock never landed a single punch against Lewis (i was there) he was gun shy.. also Lewis was 10/11 favourite.

    Lewis was just too sharp

Michael Bents victory over Morrison in no way represents the Ruiz vs Tua fight...Ruiz was cold-****ed in 19 seconds including the 10 count when hit with the first shot of the fight.... Morrison was all over Bent for 2 minutes until he was hit with a 3 punch combo and took a knee, he went down twice more and the fight was waved off...

It represents the same level of 'upset'

Morrison turned to acting in movies and was on the downslide of his career... it was also well known that Morrison was a steroid abuser and easy meat for a bigger guy like Lewis or Bowe.

Wow! LL did even better than I thought, if he was on roids

The list of fighters you have put up are fighters rated in the 50-25 bracket who had padded records and failed when they fought out of the Class C class.

They've all had some good wins too..

David Tua IMO has never had much boxing ability and i would find it difficult to see him beat any fighter by decision using his boxing skills.. i agree that Tua is a very heavy puncher and that is his only strong point in this sport.. No chin then?

i can never recall David Tua being in a position to challenge any top fighters or being avoided by the top fighters, infact whenever Tua had a half-decent victory he was immediately chosen by the top fighters as their next opponent simply because they knew he was "easy-meat" due to his lack of ability...
    Top fighters or class c?

i just could not see Tua beating the likes of Witherspoon, Tubbs, Berbick, Smith etc... he would have to win by KO and i feel they was all to seasoned for that to happen...

I couldn't see Martin beating Witherspoon or Butler beating Tubbs or ST Gordon beating Berbick or Marvis Frazier beating Smith.. Tua's better than those guys, and lets face it; **** appens..

Mickey... can you describe the ending of Wills vs Page for me please..........

Who had Phil Jackson beaten that was rated in the world top 100 at the time of losing to Ruddock or losing to Lewis 5 fights later?

Ruiz was a novice when Tua flattened him... Morrison was a world champion when Bent flattened him.. so no it was not the same level of upset...

David Tua will always be thought of as having a good chin if he never fights any fighters who can punch..from memory he was wobbled by Ibeabuchi at the bell to end the 10th round and Rahman had him down ....

      Terrible Tim would behead Tua

Mickey... can you describe the ending of Wills vs Page for me please..........

Wills clowning, cuts Page and KD's him in the 9th.. Page refuses to come out for the 10th, and retires on his stool.. Hardly a devastating KO; Page was just outta shape..

Who had Phil Jackson beaten that was rated in the world top 100 at the time of losing to Ruddock or losing to Lewis 5 fights later?

I can only refer to boxrec on this, and they don't give top 100 ratings on retired fighters, so i can't answer you truthfully on that.. Besides, there were only 2 years inbetween those two fights, so there isn't much to go by..

Ruiz was a novice when Tua flattened him... Morrison was a world champion when Bent flattened him.. so no it was not the same level of upset...

Ruiz was highly rated at the time..

Great, so Morrison was cheating, and Lewis still won..

David Tua will always be thought of as having a good chin if he never fights any fighters who can punch..from memory he was wobbled by Ibeabuchi at the bell to end the 10th round and Rahman had him down ....

Two big punchers, if i'm not mistaken..

              Terrible Tim would behead Tua

              Nah, UD Witherspoon

Mickey i have caught you out mate... you are telling porkies
The Mark Wills vs Greg Page fight is not on Youtube, so you cant watch it on there, the only way to watch it is if you have the fight in your collection or watched it on TV at the time it was aired... i am sure that their is one or two members who can verify this for me in that the ending was nothing remotely like you described it, in fact you could not be further from the truth.....Let me describe the finnish for you because i happen to have that fight in my collection:

Page turned up in terrible state weighing over 240lbs against the hard-hitting gym rat Mark Wills who was in very good shape, the fight was a "Slugfest" from the opening bell with Wills decking Page at the end of the opening round, Page recovered to floor Wills with a big left-hook in the 2nd round, the action ebbed and flowed throughout the first 8rds in the 9th round Page trudged forwards towards Wills.. Wills took 3 quick steps forwards and let go the most devastating right-hand bomb you could ever wish to see, it hit Page right on the button, lifting all 240lbs of him off the canvas and launching him 7 or 8ft across the ring on his back, Page rose to his feet at the count of 9 with blood pouring from a cut over his right eye, the bell saved Page and as he sat in his corner he started argueing with his trainer saying,"this ain't a fight. This is just training!" and electing not to come out for the final round..... Mickey if you had seen that fight mate, you would never forget that punch that Wills wacked Page with... in watching over 20,000+ fights i have never seen a punch as devastating which lifts a 240lb man off his feet and launches him, and you would never forget it also.

I think you are both right and wrong. Page fought Mark Wills two times and was stopped both times. Once after quitting on his stool due to cuts and the second time after being pole-axed with a big right hand haymaker. Page turned up in horrible shape and lost to a mediocre fighter at best.

In the first fight he clowned and was hit with an uppercut which made him bite his tongue. This led to him retiring on his stool.

                      The rematch:
