How Andre Ward managed to duck Gennady Golovkin at 168

We know for a fact Ward ducked GGG at 160. He offered GGG a catchweight fight, but Golovkin was under no obligation to move up from 160 at that time and there was no money in a Ward fight. Ward has ZERO PPV sales while trying to bait Golovkin up in weight. Ward's best PPV numbers were 160K buys from his first fight with Kovalev. Ward then gets a gift in the first fight and should have been DQ'd in rematch. Kovalev wasn't on the same level as GGG and Ward struggled with him. Now Ward is desperate for a fight with a low-skill washed up HW where he wants to make the fight in UK because no one will pay to see him in the U.S. He couldn't even sell out venues in his hometown of Oakland.
Facts over lies. No catchweight according to the op articleComment

Totally believable scenario by a source who obviously wanted to lay low and not ignite drama but get the truth out to the public. Ward would never confess he ducked GGG. But he certainly would lie to cover up his cowardice.Comment

Meanwhile Ward said he would go to 160 for little Floyd but not Golovkin. Those are the facts.Comment

While at the same time accusing everyone he doesn't like of having been "banned for racism", all the while posting under a piss-take alt because he was banned for racism. It's always a Pee Wee's Playhouse "I-Know-You-Are-But-What-Am-I?" with these Not See forum roaches.
Nor do we need any girly threads on cross dressing pig.

As I said before, Ward had zero PPV credentials to his name and couldn’t put asses in seats outside of Oakland. Where does he get off demanding 50% and Go,o min move up to 168? That wasn’t a serious offer if in fact it was ever made.

Ward was never anywhere near the league of Golovkin. Everybody knows it now, and Ward knew it most of all. He would have gotten wrecked by Golovkin. So he took the Hoeweather approach and made sure he used cowardice to protect that phony 0. The problem for Ward is he was a lousy sell and fans didn't buy his lousy clutch and grab fights.
Golovkin was a grand master of boxing and against all odds became a global superstar attraction because of his skills, charisma, and perfect fighting style. Ward made the right move, duck the loss to GGG and keep taking the path of least resistance.Comment
