Very good fight, pretty close to 50/50. Top level chins on each fighter, so I doubt anyone wins by KO. I can see Tiger being smart and countering GGG to a victory, I can see GGG using that lead jab and then out working Tiger to a victory.

Um Flowers was KO'd in several fights by some guys who could not hold GGG's jock strap, and QUIT in a fight. No way he beats GGG's.

He was around in Dempsey time, not that he would give him a title shot.

But enough FACTS What film has anyone seen of Flowers that impresses?

Flowers was an active in-fighter who slapped him with punches with a weak chin. A top fighter in his era and high volume pucher.

The big Greb and Walker fans tend to over rated him. He was involved in 9 DQ's and likey some fixed fights.

He beat some very good competition but his numerous losses and draws should raise an eyebrow to anyone placing him in the all time top ten @160. He died at age 32. A good man.

This is a fun trip down memory lane! Looking at that list of names, it's tough to pick just one over fifteen rounds. It really depends on the style matchup, doesn't it? Trying to decide makes me think of those times waiting for a webpage to load, and getting so bored that you'd start playing the Dinosaur Game just to have something to do. I guess, like that game, you just have to keep going until the end to see who comes out on top! Tough call, though, they were all warriors.

I think the thread is referring to D1ck Tiger, not Tiger Flowers. Yes, confusing to have two all time great MW Tigers, especially when one's first name is edited out here

Not really ,he was an implacable opponent, who could be made to
                  look ordinary against good movers.
