Welter greats Mayweather would have ducked

Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Crawford, Quartey, Benitez, Forrest, Mayorga, Spinks, Napoles, Thurman, Hedgemon Lewis, Pryor, Robinson, Armstrong, Basilio, Demarco. I can't think of one welter great the lil coward would dare to fight, unless there was a payoff to play soft.

What about McClarin, Ross, Griffith, and Micky Walker?

What are you doing with this post, naming great WWs?

If you believe this, then pick out a fighter and say why, (other than he was a coward,) he would have ducked him.

I think a Benetiz-Money fight would have been real interesting to watch and I can't see why he would duck him.

He ducked Margarito for a career high payday of $8m because he knew he would get beat up. Now if Floyd knew Margarito would beat him up, Benitez and all the others and the ones you also cited, would also leave Floyd beaten up.

Based on the refs behaviour of repeated illegally breaking up Maidana from doing damage you can infer that Maidana won the first fight. Given the fact that Maidana is a Kotelnik leftover you can put the bar a lot lower in terms of avoided fighters and interchange Maidana with for example Mayorga, those two were in fact in the same weight class for many years.

Well I seriously doubt he ducks anyone being that he agreed to fight the (close to) consensus #2 ranked fighter of his time in his prime, only to have Pacquaio decline because he claimed to need a whopping 3 weeks to recover from giving blood.

Does anyone here really believe Pacquiao needed 3 weeks to recover from giving a teaspoon of blood? If so, you yourself need to be tested for drugs.

Hearns is the one Mayweather would not want to face.

All wrong for Money in every way.

Especially fully prepared and a solid 147 (not 145).

The version that fought Cuevas was simply awesome.

The only greats he would have fought would have been well past their prime or much less experienced.

Great is an overused word imo.I don't think it's applicable to Spinks,Quartey,Forrest,Mayorga,Thurman,Lewis ,or DeMarco.
I do think Mayweather was a cherry picker.

Spinks was a tap and run artist. Mayweather would have no reason to avoid him.

Not only is he a coward, he even brags about it on video bragging that he's a coward and a rich coward. Cowardice is what made him to rich and kept his 0.
