Sounds like he confirms the conventional wisdom that Louis is a better combination puncher, whereas Rocky had better one-punch power.

      - - Faced a past prime Louis who still beat him and then KOed the 2nd fight..

Faced a developing prime Rocky who beat him the first time, and then prime Rocky who KOed him post haste...

Prime Brown Bomber would have eaten Rocky alive. There I said it. Don't shoot me!

Well everyone's knows Joe Louis was 76 years old when he came back to fight Marciano. Frank Sinatra confirmed it.

I believe he was 38 but yeah he looked closer to 78 ) I think Marciano quit at 31. Could have been some monkey business with the ages back then.

Yes Louis would have destroyed Marciano in his prime.

I see that clearly also. Marciano was good but he might have been an overrated "mafia" fighter who came along at the right time and had the right management. Good small cruiserweight type today but absolutely no chance even against the likes of Chris Byrd, Sam Peter, Tony Thompson, Zelkjo Mavrovic, Dillian Whyte, Ron Lyle, Jimmy Young, Derek Chisora types.

Cant watch that one, the vibe bothers me. Rather re-watch Beverly Hills Cop. Three masterpieces.
