Kaufman's record going into the Johnson fight was19-1-0 His only loss being to Jack O Brien, whom he subsequently beat twice later.
        Among the men he had beaten were;
        O Brien x2
        Ross x2
        Flynn
        Schreck
        Barry
        Lang
        Kubiak
        Gardner

Langford turned down a fight with Kaufman.
Here is a report of the Johnson fight.

"Jack Johnson had no trouble winning a 'newspaper' decision over Al Kaufman this afternoon in ten rounds. There was an agreement that no decision was to be rendered if both were on their feet at the end. Johnson landed almost at will, while Kaufman got in only two effective blows. It appeared as though Johnson could have ended the fight at any time." (Associated Press)
Now wipe that egg off your face!lol

Al Kaufman was quite a busier. One of the better big men of his day.

                  - - 20 year old Luther McCarty knocked Al out inside 2rds. In fact, Luther whooped several other JJ opponents easier than JJ was able.

Yeah and so what? I post a photo with minimum comment, just enough to get the link accepted, and you make a song and dance about comparative results?
McCarty beat Kaufman 3 years after Johnson had burst Kaufman's burst bubble.

WTF has that to do with the photo I posted?
Why don't you team up with that other idiot Z?
We can call you the ,"Hate Johnson Tag Team",WTF!
