back to the thread, I noticed that bare knuckle fighters i watch are often quite fat. Is there a reason for that? can it be an advantage for this sport?
It makes me wonder how long they'd last against fury or usyk.
Can anyone tell me if been fat is an advantage in bare knuckle. Were victorian bare knuckle fighters overweight? Does it aid the man to be heavy?

queeny it is still bare knuckle fighting. there is no cushion to the blows. i know now why they tend to be fatter. it is because they need to absorb more body shots as hitting the skull damages the hands in bare knuckle boxing so they avoid the head and punch the body more.
