Do you know what Reagan is talking about when he says "There you go again"?

He is mocking Jimmy Carter for being a pessimist. Carter told us the National Debt was too high. Which at the time was just under one trillion dollars and could be fixed.

Imagine an American President telling ghe people, in an election year, "You have to expect less, we can't afford this lifestyle."

Reagan tore Carter a new a- hole with that one and beat the quip to death.

His quips made him America's darling.

He had 'daddy's' credit card (our economy) and cut taxes and raised spending. Every year the deficit got bigger.

Reagan said, don't worry about it I got a plan.

He pleased everyone. Won 49 of 50 States in relection. And then . . .

He tripled the National debt from one trillion to 3.3 trillion and we have never looked back.

        30 trillion and counting.

We did have a chance back in 1980. We could have reelected Grandpa Carter or we could have a blast with Ronnie the Popular.

His quips were so good he even has you using one today.

We chose Reagan and The 80s! "Greed is good."

Great quips but one hell of a bad President.

I know. It is funny how many leading men looked so unlikely when teenagers. I would never have guessed him myself in a million years. But there is just that tiny bit in the eyes that kind of gets you thinking "I know him somehow i know somewhere in my mind."
