May 1920, 10 round draw. Godfrey was 1-0

Now you know where that draw came from.

NB I did not list the 1st of May 1920 bout between Godfrey and Langford because there are no details to prove the fight ever took place.
Clay Moyle, Langford's biographer, lists it as "UNCONFIRMED".

Okay but I got mine from Sundowners, which, ya know, when I said you said isn't a proper source you popped right up to tell me you never said that. Is it context vey? Situation? When the source comes from me it's bad? TF?

I am legitimately curious why anyone would hold the draw in the numbers but drop it in narrative.

You just told me you didn't list it because it's unconfirmed yet you do list the only draw attributed to Godfrey by 1920. You didn't edit the post.

The whole entire reason i grabbed Sundowners and checked dude's record was because you listed a draw and I was curious who it was and if it was like a 4 rounder deal or a legit draw. Shocked, I found Lang and told you. I don't always like fighting about **** with you dog. Why's it got to be so GD hard to share anything bro?

          Anyone know the Hemingway story?

Gene plafully sparred with the arrogant bullying d*ckhead and the fool thought he could hurt him.

Tunney crashed his right one inch from his face and told him -

          'NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!'

          Perfect.

Tunney retired too young. He could have been champion until about 1932 if he had continued.

That is a distinct possibility, but he had achieved what he wanted to,and his motivation likely had gone.

Yes he made a lot of money from the Dempsey fights. Its just a shame because he could have been one of the great heavyweight champions in my opinion.
