    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH3NniWeLMI watching this right now.
What era do you think has been most corrupt?
I think it was king in the eighties. But the early sixties was pretty corrupt the fixes and contracts?
Tell us why you think the eighties or 40's etc was the most corrupt era in boxing.

2024- Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

Tyson's a legend, without a doubt. He would have NEVER thrown a fight when he was younger, but I guess the money was far too sweet to pass up. I know it was a novelty event more than anything and not so much a legitimate fight, but still, it did hurt a little seeing that money is far more important even to someone like him.

I don't think Tyson tanked the fight as much as he and the kid promised not to hurt eachother. An exhibition pretending to be a fight.

Anyone who may have lost money on the fight deserved to lose it (if there was actually any action to begin with).

We have become a nation of pretenders; from a pretend government to pretend champions.

I don't know how to compare powers of corruption. It's similar to how I handle the boxers themselves.

Is Don King, like anything he did, comparable to Turki?

Is Turki not corruption because you like him?

              How about John L?

How does one compare any of them to the ******* takeover of ********ic institution with the expressed intent on corrupting those institutions to their own favor through out Europe and the 1930s and 40s and the coincidental heavyweight champions whose nations would never again be major players in the division?

I dunno man. Being king **** is still ****. Might be more difficult to find any time in boxing history when it wasn't corrupt.

**** man, I can tell you about ancients who "won" because the man who beat them killed them and they were named after a god so the religion corrupted the sport into calling winners loser and loser winner, seriously, based on names alone. ... ... ... yup.

That said, I think Jem Ward and the Ward Gang's control was probably the most absolute version of corruption ever seen. Not even the colorline is as absolute as the Ward Gang. Don King, *******s, even now with Turki, we can only say "some" but when Ward's gang controlled the HW title England had no choice but pay him ransoms or make a new title in America. That's ****ing hella power bro. Not even Figg got that. Morrissey in America comes close with his own gang and influence on politics but again it's just a some. Sometimes. Sometimes he got boned back.

Ward never got his boning. There is no Tyson stomped the shiz out of him. No the Allies won. Nothing. All you can say is but they made a rival league doe. Coo, the main one was so ****ing corrupted.
