I always think of Gene Fullmer. I guess this is partially out of my adoration for the late Joe rein... who once answered one of my many silly questions about who the toughest looking fighter was with a description of gene. "A big lump, comprised of many smaller such lumps, held together with sand paper skin and a face that could scare the boogeyman.

it wasn't so much that Gene was particularly unathletic, rather he looked like a bit of a monster LOL. And was as tough as a Mormon holding down a homestead in Mexico! But let's be real, Gene was not conventionally athletic in any respect of the word

And he was part of the MOST boring fight in history with Wlad!!!

        Butterbean

Y'all still sleeping on Bean? proven. GOAT Fatmin. For real though, dude's actual form despite his fatness, posture, positioning, powerline. The ****ing handspeed. Kids say Andy has fast hands for a fatman. Tell me you were born in the 90s or after without telling me you were born in the 90s or after.

Fat Toney, Lights Out, is underrated. Probably because it's kinda heart breaking, but, JT didn't suck as a fatman and if you didn't know about his smaller man skills you'd probably think better of him as a fatman.

RIP Old Foreman. GOAT Old man boxer. Hard to do that when your company is only just B-Hop and JJ Walcott. Foreman's old man timing was a marvel. Especially since he really didn't have it when he was younger. Maybe that's harsh, but you know what I mean. Old Man Foreman is refined.

Primo, maybe, hard to judge him given the fascism and mafia. But if we take primo at face value or something close to it, he's got a massive disadvantage being huge when he was. Let me remind you dudes, the interstate was started in like the 50s or some shiz like that some of you oldest ****s will remember. During his time, it's not even the medicine, I mean yes, but the infrastructure of modern nations just is not there yet. Mom and pop shops getting in where the people live and roads that connect cities not townships. Just feeding the lad, as a lad, god bless his parents. Building a man who can do 15 is impressive, this one became HW champ of the world and AFAIK is italy's only HW champion. In the early mother ****in 30s.

          - - Mr Bean heavily mocked Tubby Lar and knocked him down to boot.

Poor Lar. That was his last active moment in the ring with him riding the ropes to keep him upright while the ref was running behind giving him the count

You never did follow this sport that closely. Or maybe you just haven't figured out how to spin it into a conspiracy theory yet.

I actually really do like the big guy lol. He reminds me a bit of Tore, You know, the big swedish wrestler in all the Ed Wood flicks? Tore was beloved and actually, like Valuev, a very intelligent, thoughtful and kind individual by all accounts. Not a bad wrestler either!
