Why did Hagler avoid the Leonard rematch?

@ Hagler fans. Hagler never got over it. He could have hunted Sugar Ray for the re-match. He did not say I'll fight you anywhere for 2 years. He retired from boxing young. Hence he did not want to fight anymore. If you carefully evaluate his career, his effort in big fights was lacking! There I said it. Too often he let the other guy fight his fight as did not press the action. He lost to the smaller man. Deal with it.

I was a big fan of Ray and Marv before their fight. Ray checked out on me leaving me Marv, Tommy, and Duran as the top guys.
