Are you under the impression I am critiquing the US? Because I am not, it's a great country although it has the 9th most obese population in the world.
The only time I have ever eaten US beef was in NY it is virtually unknown in the UK or,at least I have never seen it advertised.
Your beef came for Spain in the 1400's and the cattle as we know them today came from Herefordshire and Devon in the UK.
In the US a lot of additives are allowed that are not permitted in the UK,whether that has any significance to the obesity problem in the States I don't know.
Americans are sure growing but horizontally not vertically.

I copied that earlier piece from the net as I thought it was germane to the subject,it's really not something that interests me that much.
What is interesting to me at the moment is the US' most recent stance on Ukraine, but this isn't the place for a debate on it.
No bud, i took issue with "Science" being able to just pass around in vague terms while "Geography" gets the brush off.

    Continued brushing off too!

The beef isn't spanish, it's european. It's not old, you just did it.

You are a Brit that said any nation that voted for Trump gets what is deserves. WTF. Yes -- you said it. Our GDP is growing vertically. You can look both facts up.

The USA paid more than all of NATO to fund the war under *****. Trump wants to end the blood bath.

But like you said, this does not belong here.

      END.

Cattle Barons then upgraded the quality by importing stock from Herefordshire and Devon in the UK.I dont understand why you intent on making an issue out of nothing here?

You could start an argument in an empty room.NB nobody including me,GAS about this!LOL

I think maybe you missed some puns. Let me speak plainly: europeans always ignore natives.

What we have become sickens me. We once ran the world with the most enlightened empire (for the time) that history has ever seen.

We seem to follow the US around a decade later.

                Thanks woke.

Now this once great nation is a playground for illegal immigrants, Pakistani **** gangs, Islamic *********s, criminals, nonces, shoplifters and absolutely everyone except those born and bred here.

The US is proud of it's heritage.

Our UK leaders actively despise what we have given to the world.

I always used to vote Labour as a working class bloke, not anymore.

I hope Nigel f*xks up the LIEBour and CONservative parties.

England effectively became a 2nd class power after WW2 and the US took on the role of the world's "policeman",the US government now seems to be abdicating their long time role in Europe, which is their prerogative. Back to topic, plenty of big heavies on show last night!

                    • Since you guys are unnecessarily picnicking on eachother's feelings I'll throw in my two cents.

                      Globalization.

Nobody likes it, but it's inevitable.

We moved -- from group -- to tribe -- to nation -- to empire -- now to globalization.

The world's too crowded, the planet too small, and to interdependent on resources.

We're going there, whether you like it or not, only question is how much resistance, violence and destruction before we get there?

Good news, life is finite and the old way always dies off.

Trump, P-utin, Xi, Kim . . . We will all be better off when they are dead.
