    Roy Jones is an all-time great according to almost any boxing historian you care to mention.

    The same can’t be said for Dariusz Michalczewski. What CAN be said for him is that he was incredibly fortunate to be active in the same era…but sadly he never had the stones to measure himself against all-time. That’s a blemish that echos through eternity I would think.

I just read an article poster on CBZ years ago where Jones said he'd fight in Germany for 12 million. I think he outpriced himself at that time, but i think that is the only way he was going to take a chance of being robbed. Dariusz was the lineal champion, but Jones was still the attraction. It's a shame neither would budge.
    I never heard about the 12m. Sounds plausible that Jones would out price himself though.

    Yes. A shame for us fans that the fight never happened.
