I used to post Scott's contributions on this forum because I missed his intelligent musings. He and I were constantly trading winner places by email in the weekly pick'em forum run by a former AOL guy. But Scott sadly passed as did that guy. A lot of AOL guys were passing because they had histories going back to Joe Louis and Rocky.

Nobody on this forum ever made mention of him. Nobody knows who U are other than being extraordinarily Dense.

Scott and I frequently emailed one another while on AOL and even here. He made me VHS tape and sent it to me free of charge many years ago of fights I didn't have and wanted. Queenie, I know you were on AOL. Macdittocom, right? How would I ever know that otherwise. There are other member here (Joseph5620) that were on that forum as well. Your obsession with AOL is amusing and disturbing at the same time. From what I remember of you then, you were the same pompous azz you are now, only you used the English language correctly. Goes back farther than that... I am convinced that in another life Dr Z was a troublesome dwarf that made me, a royal prince at the time, slip over him, whereupon I hit my head and died... Queen B? But did he always have this gimmick? Surely if you went back far enough in time you would find he spoke normally or atleast without the gimmick. I disagree with the rest of his fights being pathetic. Douglas just never had the fire to fight, tje skills were there. He beat some talented fighters, he just never showed consistency. He never had a mean streak. But an on point Douglas......not an all time great, but certainly a bad match up for most fighters in history .

He always had talent, you can see it in his other fights.

His desire and discipline is what could be often questioned, though.

He may not have had the gimmick, which is really just aesthetics, but the substance of his posts was still the same even back then: Hatred for Ali and Holmes, really hatred for black fighters in general; and never seeing a white fighter he didn't hang off the nutsack of.....especially the Eastern Euros. He was a Valuev fan-boi even back then.

The betting on the Tyson fight was halted because they (sport bets casinos) could not risk taking anymore money on Douglas.

The 42-1 odds everyone always talked about does not simply reverse when betting on boxing. That's not the way boxing bets work. You could never win $42 for a $1 bet on Douglas. That never existed.

Douglas' action started at 1-20 and began to climb. In time it worked out at 1-35 and the sports betting shut down.

The casino couldn't pay $35 for every $1 bet on Douglas, that simply doesn't work so they shut the window.
