Definitely a rematch he should have pushed for.

Most thought Schultz was robbed and Geotge gave up his IBF title rather than rematch him. How would Tucker have done at that time against Big George had he been given the opportunity?
Maybe he could have beaten Foreman in that period of time or in their primes.

          - - We ain't dumbo like U. No reason for the rematch as Vit was recovering from shoulder surgery whilst Wlad whooped Byrd like Lucy would whoop U.

Lol, same old BS, huh? What's the matter, you can't come up with anything new and meaningful? Vits fought a month later, so the shoulder excuse doesn't work. Everyone knows Wlad had the biggest huevos between the two. Easily proven to. All one needs to do is look at their resumes and see who consistently fought the better fighters. The era was already weak enough, but Vits needed to sc**** the bottom of the barrel while Wlad was fighting the cream of the crop at that time. Sorry Queenie, but the facts speak for themselves.

              - - Vit fought 7 months later vs undefeated Timo Hoffman, a month after Wlad beat Byrd for the title. Then on to contender Orlin Norris, a beatem up of Puritty, Contender Vaughn Bean, then the first and only KO of contender Larry Donald before taking Lewie on 2 weeks notice that he not only beat up, but emasculated like he did to U...yeah!!!

Yes, one month after wlad fought Byrd. Vits could have had the rematch but begged little brother to fight for him instead. Over the next several years they wre ranked #1 and #2, yet Vits chose to fight the murderers row you just named instead of rematching the guy he lost to.

                  - - It's Lewie, your poster boy he wanted to rematch since he held the title and lucked out in their first fight with dirty tactics like the trailing glove tape were he opened up Vit again by rubbing his rasta braids into the eye that the ref allowed.

Look, told U it's OK to be soft and addled and believe in tooth faeries and the like...

What's the difference between the Byrd rematch not happening and the Lewis rematch not happening? Let me enlighten you. Lewis won their fight fair and square and decided to retire. Byrd also won his fight with Vits, but here is the difference, they both continued to fight on being ranked the #1 and 2 contenders for several years. Do you think its kind of odd Vits wanted to rematch a fat, old Lewis who had already talked of retiring, but not the young, crafty Byrd who beat him on 10 days notice?

                      - - Vit didn't need major surgery and recovery and rehab vs Lewie. All he needed was his face healing and Lewie to accept the rematch purse that HBO was rabidly hungry for. Vit was ahead on the scorecard in every fight including his two losses. Same with Wlad until doping Fury won the first decision against him.

There was no big purse to be had vs Byrd whereas both Lewie fights were what fighters fight for most, oodles of money where a powder puncher defensive stinker like Byrd had no big purse nor acclaim.
