Assessing "hardest hitting" is subjective, but based on power and knockout records, some top welterweights include:
        1. Errol Spence Jr.
        2. Terence Crawford
        3. Jaron "Boots" Ennis
        4. Vergil Ortiz Jr.
        5. Eimantas Stanionis (Block Blast)

            SRR
            SRL
            McLarin
            Ross
            Hearns

            Not in any particular order.

I think these 5 fighters would have been champions in any era.

Um? If Mancini had killed Kim two years earlier Hearns would have defeated SRL over 12 rounds and we would have different lists today.

I don't think Ross was ever considered a big puncher.
Lucas Matthysse and Florentino Fernandez were.

Gloves protect the hands... Smaller gloves= Knockout being harder to attain.
