The only place I've seen this mentioned, is in the Loughran chapter of Peter Heller's "In This Corner"... where Loughran makes so many strange claims/excuses, that it's hard to take much of it seriously.
Loughran never conceded that he really lost a fight.lol Carnera stamped on his feet and fractured a toe which obviously hindered his mobility.

Read what I said, I think you missed the word AND & POWER. Note the height, reach and weight advantage Carnera had. Reasons why he lost.

        THIS IS WHAT YOU SAID.

"If Loughton had great feet and jab",
        Ignoring the spelling mistake.
Loughran had both, great footwork and a great jab!
I wonder you don't get tired of being continually embarrassed?
I suppose, if you are that ****** ,you don't even realise it is happening!

Because he’s actually not that bad of a boxer. Wlad is no better.

he’s also probably the strongest heavyweight physically I can think of bar non. Not the biggest but certainly the strongest.

I won’t lie though if the fight was about to happen I woulda picked loughran every day of the week. Maybe foul play?

Loughran took 15 rounds of punishment to throw a fight, for the title, by decision?

Come on, that's as silly as believing Johnson fought 24 rounds before taking a dive in Havana.

Wlie Pep went down (easy) against Lulu Perez in the second round. That's what a fixed fight looks like.

Yes, every jab to the face hurts. I know, you know that. No one gets punched for 15 rounds, with the title on the line, to tank a fight.

That's one very ****** man. Nah!

I'm not one to say Carnera is a complete farce. not even arguing. don't know much about the guy besides how big and strong he was genetically.
