Yeah, I caught both cards last night.....in all their 42" high-def glory :hah9:

On a serious note, I'm very old-fashioned and don't like watching video on my PC. I burn all the fights I get to DVD and watch them on the TV. That's some 2,000 odd fights so I have a bunch of DVDs :chuckle9:

What fight did you watch recently/last night ?

This morning i had it on my mind to watch and score the Witherspoon vs Holmes fight so that is what i did. Ive just watched Douglas vs Tucker (boring as hell) and Tyson vs Pinklon Thomas.

What fight did you watch recently or today?

Watched two Marvin Johnson fights yesterday. The first was his title defense in 1980 against Eddie Gregory. Gregory fought so much like a young Rid**** Bowe in this fight, controlling Johnson with his left jab and when inside, landing several devastating uppercuts. Towards the end of the 10th, Johnson was all but out on his feet. After taking a terrible beating throughout the 11th, the referee stopped the fight, giving Gregory the WBA 175 pound crown. After the fight, Gregory changer his name to Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. Eddie reminded me of Bowe in this fight, ironically both of them hail from the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

The second Johnson fight was his 1984 fight with future 175 pound champion Prince Charles Williams. Marvin totally dominated this fight, landing left crosses and right hooks the entire 10 rounds. Midway through the 10th, Williams staggered Marvin with a booming right, and Johnson held on to win a very lopsided victory.
