  • Shane Mosley vs Demetrio Ceballos, this was a strong display by one of my favourite ever fighters. Mosley hit Ceballos with everything and eventually knocked him out. Larry Merchant was raving about Mosley that night and rightly so.

      Thomas Tate vs Merqui Sosa
      Thomas Tate vs Omar Sheika

      • I watched the Mike Tyson vs. Pinkron Thomas (May 30, 1987) fight: Tyson defended his WBA and WBC heavyweight titles by TKO in round 6. He was nearly knocked out in the first round, but Thomas managed to hold on until the sixth round, when Tyson’s relentless pressure led to his knockout.

            • Replay of Canelo-Scull. I didn't watch it live a few weeks ago, but God, that was a terrible fight.

              I'm hoping Canelo-Crawford brings fireworks.

              • The most recent major fight I watched was UFC 317, which took place on June 21, 2025, in Baku, Azerbaijan. that’s not my neighbor The main event featured Khalil Rountree Jr. defeating Jamahal Hill via unanimous decision (49-46, 50-45 x2). Other notable bouts included Rafael Fiziev's unanimous decision victory over Ignacio Bahamondes, Curtis Blaydes edging out Rizvan Kuniev via split decision, and Myktybek Orolbai securing a first-round kimura submission against Tofiq Musayev .

                • Replay of Sheeraz vs. Adames ahead of Sheeraz/Berlanga this weekend. At first glance, I thought that Adames clearly won 9-10 rounds but after watching the replay, I awarded 5 rounds to Sheeraz who definitely won 3 of the first 4 (even the commentators said so) and 2 of the championship rounds. Adames definitely edged the fight but it WASN'T the robbery that most people claim (CompuBox figures were only 143 vs. 135 in Adames' favour overall). Also, although he was the busier fighter, a lot of his punches were blocked or hit Sheeraz's gloves.
