How long could Archie Moore have fought on if TRT and the advancements of supplements and nutrition had existed when he fought? Would he have fought and won a world title past the age of 46, the record held by Bernard Hopkins?

Probably 69? Who the **** knows what the limitations of a TRT athlete are, maybe your knees just give up at some point or arthritis kills your shoulder.
Moore def one of the best technicians of all time, but he wouldn't really be able to prove that if he hadn't boxed into such an old age without any gear. Would slap the **** out of Hopkin's either way, but that's not your question lol.

I think biological limits are what they are. Some people have better genes. I don't know how much supplements really could help. Aren't you a certainly a ****er! And one thing's for sure... Even at 95 he could still slide the s*** out of the queen bee.

He would come on strong for a few fights when he starts trt. But it would equalize and the effects would wear off.
trt has limited bonuses with boxing. They say it's the exact same as normal testosterone but it really isn’t. If gives you water retention and for some people acne. Natural testosterone doesn’t seem to offer these side effects (although some will get acne). But def not water retention.
it gives you a psychological boost sure, but a guy like Archie probably won’t notice much with all of his experience.
all in all, I think trt would have probably given Archie a few more years but not a lot.

Why can't you just answer the question without constantly being a troll? If Archie had access to the things I already mentioned in his own era, do you think he could have won a title at or past the age of 46?

He also had about120 fights around ,or under 160lbs
Compare that to his career as a heavyweight when he was fighting whilst in his 40's.
It's official you are a moron!Last edited by Ivich; 05-03-2024, 05:55 AM.
