damn Yo, What about Armstrong or Pep? Armstrong won the featherweight title. Then jumped up the Welterweight. Came back down to lightweight winning that title as well. Held all 3 belts at the same time.Comment

Armstrong is an odd one. He did so many amazing things in a short space of time but then he was beaten twice by zivic and then lost to Reuben shank? He falls just behind the big 3 on longevity. He shined brightly but for a few years.Comment

I think Greb and Langford, separated from their extensive, respective mythologies, would seem more human to us and less supermen. The more visual information you have on a subject, the more there is to potentially criticize. See more know more. We never got to see their faults, we only hear about their fighting from their mythologies. Anyone writing about Greb never saw him fight either, so what they do is add to the surrounding mythology, perhaps here and their updating and correcting any mistaken "facts" that have come to light since the last guy's book.
