    Monzon UD (close)

In a fight that Monzon never lets become a brawl; a fight that never reaches its expectation of excitement.

    No Hagler-Hearns

Hagler of course. Monzon was unskilled flat footed slow hypejob with poor resume.

I rank Robinson higher than him at 160 as well.

True though the Watts fight was not a just decision. He did avenge both defeats.

Both Hagler and Monzon had consistent uninterrupted title reigns. I would probably rank them as better Middleweight Champions than Sugar Ray but the best version of Robinson at Middleweight 1949-52 would IMO be too much for both of them.

I'd have no problem with anyone placing any of the 3 at the top.I'd probably put Greb there myself.

                      - - Shame Marv had 5 years overlap with Monzon yet never in position to challenge because he was too busy avenging his losses to journeymen.

Nobody cares what a growed man still stuck in 3rd grade thinks anyway.
