Just had a peak there, ill be damned nobody knows anything about boxing whatsoever. The opinions are comical. Scary place.

It's a cesspool of casuals and tribal fans who worship promoters, networks, managers, and place a lot of stock into remaining undefeated. One loss and suddenly a fighter is a bum or overrated hype job.

A miasma of miscreant manure mongers masticating merrily the malodorous musings of moronic mooncalves minus most morsels of mediocre minds, moreover mendacious maggots mocking melody, meter and mathematics with mumbo jumbo, malarkey and misinformation meant to muddle, mislead and mystify.

Yeah, they are actually just straight up ******. The concept of being undefeated has to be the most worthless attributes when it comes to rating a fighter. You could be 100-0 or 26-17 it would all depend on who you fought and when. Even Bundana would agree

No doubt about it. There a a few good posters there, but very few. Not sure why anyone who actually understands fight sport would hang out there much. I've posted some knowledge there for those few, but very little gets read there. No thirst for knowledge.

You would certainly be a fish out of water over there!

Some good posters in there especially RJJGOAT.

But mostly it’s kids, always has been. It was in the 00’s, was in the 10’s and is now. It’s just the kids get old and leave and new ones come in.

And when they find the forum, they’ve not long found boxing and are into their first favourite fighter, so they have an attachment to them, often irrational

To be honest, if the internet was a thing in the 70’s and 80’s I’d have probably been the same. We all remember the fighters who first got us into boxing, and how much we loved rooting for them. If there was an internet where you could talk about it to the world back then a lot of us would have been saying some things on there we’d probably cringe at today.

That is indeed a very good perspective

I've been in the forums for nearly 20 years, right off the bat I saw the non-sense that was NSB.

I retreated to the Longe and Training section of the forums.

There are some knowledgeable people in NSB, but the ones that have little knowledge seem to 'yell the loudest' and argue the most.

And some wonder where my 'they don't know sheet 'bout no boxing' came from.

Actually, Bill Miller first opened my eyes to their ignorance and his words are a big part of my 'know nothin' line.
