I still think he does not get enough credit for all the quality guys he fought. People like the Queen B always making it seemed like Lewis ducked... when it was apparent to anyone, looking at the time how fighters performed and were perceived, Lewis always chose the stronger opponent, even when it meant vacating a belt.
so much i agree with your words. he chose the best foe to fight and won each time except two what i call lucky punches. he beat so many guys in their prime. gallota, ruddock, tua, bruno, morrisson, grant, holyfeild, briggs and many top fights when he was coming up. he easily won his rematches too.
You articulate what i wanted to say better then i could.

I nominate Ray Leonard. He could bodypunch with both hands, throw combinations at lightning speed and hurt you with every punch whether it being jab, hook straight or overhand right as well as left and right uppercuts. I cannot think of any fighter having that complete arsenal tbh. Especially not factoring in the balance and speed with which he could deliver his punches.

By Which I mean had the widest array of punches that they could, and consistently would, land accurately, at a high quality, and with force.

I know all boxers could throw all punches, but not all of them consistently would (some guys just relied on one or two). Others would, throw them all, but some of their punches were just for show, or did little damage, or they couldn't really land them. I am not talking about them, I want to know who had the greatest arsenal of punches in all of history.
That’s easy, Deontay Wilder without question..... The windmill overhand. A punch no other boxer knew how to throw yet he can throw it from either hand.

          - - Deyonce outboxed by near every TBA Haymon lined up for him.

Power makes up for Shyte boxing.

Anyone can box if shown right but not everyone has power.

              Why is that?

Believing there is a proper way to box than I would conclude that proper technique would add power.

Certainly anyone can throw a round house punch, but to deliever a powerful over hand right, a right cross, upercut, or left hook demands that the whole of boxing technique come into play. That will then make the punches land with power.

Assuming power isn't solely based on muscle than 'anyone' doesn't really have power until they learn to box.

P.S. e.g. Footwork alone (positioning) adds or diminishes power greatly.
