Actually, I meant to say Ruiz. He is the fat guy who beat Joshua, isn't he? I get the two names mixed up.The hall of fame is not a joke in every sense, and it was an attempt to be gracious and thankful to those who sacrifice themselves for money, I guess. You seem to pretend boxers do it for us. They don't do it for our entertainment, either. We are ancillary. Money. In negotiations are they ever arguing over the fan? No. Money.
My statement only bothers you because you go there and know some people who attend. I guess you would hate for them to find out you said anything bad about the HOF. I bet you know the manager or owner of the place and some officials there. Do you? More reason for you to "behave."

Its' gotten worse since they cut down the amount of time to be eligible.

I guess I've got a healthy respect for people, even when it's no easy thing to maintain (check of the medium intellect on display in the Non-Stop boxing section here for reference). Fighters take chances to pull themselves up and do it legally, and I respect that too. There is an honesty to boxing that you don't trip over in field game sports. Fighters, they are peacetime soldiers, like Firemen and Police. Baseball, Football fans, they often criticize the HOF choices and snubs, but seldom do you catch them disrespectful of the institutions themselves.
After the money's gone and the fans stop caring, what has a great fighter got for himself? The Respect from those who really understand the game.
I beleive that you do.
