A HUGE name for promotional value, not The Man, hence the McNeely and other subsequent farces. Older Vander wasn't in position to fight preprison Mike who had more of his mental faculties then even if in decline. Big George had that fight lined up before the Tiananmen Massacre. Instead that fight went to Buster.

Just gonna have to live with Vander getting the 3rd rate Mike, not the first or second rate Mike, and needed headbutts to win which is where he first earned his moniker as HolyButt.

That's fine since it gives you something to crow about absent any other thing in your sheltered life.

            - - Blubber don't always make the scratch line, so that is where all the wagering is currently going.

With all that considered, as the big underdog Evander Holyfield beat him from pillar to post in the first one and made him quit the second one whilst winning every round.

I think it's incredibly difficult to argue that Tyson could be ahead of Holyfield in a H2H scenario when it's clear as day that Holyfield is the far superior fighter.
Holyfield is older, but he also didn't spend 3 years in prison and was not further past his peak than Tyson.

Tyson's peak was '88 versus Spinks & Holmes

Holyfield's peak in '93 versus Bowe

I agree Tyson was the favorite, but that's only because people were expecting the' 88 Tyson & Don King put him in there with people like Peter McNeilly and Frank Bruno who wouldn't really test him.

                You.....you're funny you!!!!

Show me where Foreman and Tyson had a signed agreement.

He consensus view at the time was Holyfield was shot, and Tyson was no where close to shot. But again a case of hindsight being 20-20.

Holyfield was well past it, and yet he battered and stoppedTyson with ease.

He is clearly the vastly superior fighter.

Resume shows that, H2H shows that, from every angle is shows that.

                    - - "When you consider the fight opened at 25-1 and closed at 5-1, then you know there was a lot of movement. There was a huge amount of Holyfield money."

ie: Insider information shows Field was a gold mine for the big players.

Outside information shows Tyson a drugged 4round fighter making the money circuit on his name.

A drugged 4 round fighter? Than how did he go eleven competitive rounds with Holy the first fight? You making up conspiracy theories again?
