He was also known for his trash talking and for his ability to psych out his opponents. However, there are a few reasons why Tyson Fury might be considered even better. Fury is the current heavyweight champion and has an undefeated record of 32-0-1. He's also 6'9', which is much taller than Ali, and he has a reach advantage over most of his opponents. Fury is also known for his strong mental game and for his ability to come back from difficult situations in fights. Fury has also twice defeated the boxer many people believe has the best punch of all time.
very well said. thanks for your input. a lot of it has to do with mind games as both men at elite level are able to do most of the things the other can and the differences are tiny but yet immense if you get me. i am not belittling ali but i think lewis would be the only type of boxer to really beat fury if they were to meet.
there is the thing in life that some boxers inspire people to feel motivated and to tackle life with gusto rather then wilt away and die and ali and fury are types who inspired me. I like fury in his first bout with wilder he really made the build up fun and enjoyable like ali used to do. I like and admire when a boxer is able to see the funny side and make witty remarks and not be weighed down with heavy negative ****ty attitudes. Ali in one of his fights in his corner after the bell was speaking to a tv camera saying how much he loves his fans and he made the fans like me feel uplifted. fury did the same with his first wilder fight in the face offs he joked and made everyone smile and that is why he gained so many new fans.

Any chance you can get him to do some sit ups?
Now there. Nothing wrong with lauding the capabilities of the figher, team or player that you support. I agree that theory isn't enough and that there is plenty of unfinished business available for Tyson Fury to attend to in this deep heavyweight generation, if he is to max out his accomplishments and solidify his standing among the very greatest. I imagine that we all agree with that, from nathan sturley to QueensburyRules. For my to cents (and worth every penny), three Wilders > Usyk, Joshua, Ruiz one apiece; but class is still in session for us all on that score. Wilder vs. Ruiz is going to be a mid-term exam and from that outcome we will see an extension of Fury's quality or an extension of Ruiz, Joshua & even Usyk in their own campaigns to be declared the premium champion of their shared generation.

And remember, juvenile debating and insult most often decays into insanity, disconnect from reality (to say nothing of dignity), and here, banning or admonishes from cooler heads, as we recently saw happen to valuable contributors Ivich and Dr Z.
Although.....a few situps, scull crushers and other abdominal work for the cameras wouldn't hurt anything.

Yea but the man became a silly person when he said Fury had perfected every style of boxing.

Do I have to be nice to silly persons?

        Ok, sorry.

His opening statement was warm and deserved respect; he shared why he is a fan; his last post was, . . . what's the word I'm looking for, oh yea, . . . 'silly'

P.S. I don't think anything happened to Ivich and Dr. Z --> I think they just took their show on the road. The feeling I get is that those two have been doing the same horse and pony show for some time now and actually need eachother.

and if he does I will be there to say, "well said."

But that is a very tall order you're asking the man to fill.

yes that is why I write what I do. I dont write about something unless I really feel inspired to. I was watching Fury on the breakfast club radio show before his first fight with wilder and the gang didnt feel fury would beat wilder they just saw wilder as a knock out king and yet fury said "ive been fighting demons and all wilder is is a man with a pair of boxing gloves on I know what his intentions are but that dark stuff noone knows where that is coming from. I have watched fury since he was a boy and he is deeply spiritual like me and we both pray and I saw in him something very very special. Hence why I write on this forum. But that said I do fully understand from an outside looking in I seem way over the top. I do understand that. It's all enjoyable to debate and I love debates I always enjoy a good debate and I am sorry for being rude to you,

funny thing just to add, we are talking about ali or fury as the goat back and fourth but look at mike tyson against marvus frazier and you're left thinking "holy crap who could stop this maniac."
It did not last 20 seconds shouts the commentator.
