He'll swear things are one way, and than go the other way in a different thread if it pleases his argument. The double standard is not only obvious, but pathetic.

I guess you figured you had a chance, eh? How come? Olympic performers are the best in the world at some sports. Other than that, common amateurs will almost always fare poorly against pros or world class amateurs in anything.

I was a professional poker player. It holds true there too. I was invited to a game of normal people who loved poker. Beating them was so easy it embarrassed me. It was worse than Cobb faces Holmes. I lost the money back discreetly and got out of there with my professional dignity. Only time I ever did that.

The difference between a true world class fighter and a regular guy who trains is so far apart you could never understand it unless you've trained with, sparred or had one of these guys personally show you what they can do.

Talking of this reminds me of when Jim Brown was thinking of challenging Ali. Brown is one of the greatest athletes of all time, but when Ali told Jim to try and hit him he got lit up before he could put a hand on him. That's when he decided he wasn't going to share a ring with Muhammad Ali.

We were just horsing around. When he lightly tapped my liver, I thought about end stage Ron Lyle pissing blood for a week. "Fighting a non-pro is like fighting a Girl" -Billy Conn.
