What would you Major in, in regards to boxing history?

If you could choose one aspect of boxing history to major in- become an expert and focus most of your studies on- what would it be? Could be a specific time period: late 19th century, the post war years; a weight class: Middleweights, Featherweights; a group of fighters: 'Black Murderer's Row'; or any other theme.

    Also, why?

Too much still to learn for me ,but if I picked a specific time era .weight class it would probably be
      1890's to1930's at Heavyweight.

        1. Changes in rules and protocols and their effect on the game.

        2. Fight game's influence on, and influenced by, the media, from Edison's Black Maria and its early recreations to tomorrow's PPV.

        3. Cultural impact of Joe Louis on the integration of American sport. I feel he is more important than Jackie Robinson, and goes unnoticed.

Unified much of America in their appreciation of what a great black fighter could be.

Do you mean more of sociology with in the boxing community?

Or more how boxing had influenced, and/or often mirrored society?
