Prime Ray Leonard vs Prime Floyd Mayweather Jr.

What say you? In my opinion, I believe Ray beats Floyd by unanimous decision, not even close. No KO as Jr.’s defense is a lot better than his dads, and he’s more athletic.

I agree Leonard wins a decision. I also think both Duran and Hearns would knock Floyd out.

Mayweather on points. The thing is, no matter how good a modern or future fighter is, nobody would ever accept they are better than the best fighters from the past generations. Cash in

Leonard too big, too strong, too fast.

              He'd carve Floyd up.

Me too. Pretty sure about that. Not being nostalgic here, I just feel that playing the timing game and cherry picking creates some doubt. All 3 are also bigger men in every way imaginable.

Leonard by a one-sided decision. He does everything better where it really counts.

I don't think it will be Ray's hardest challenge, but one of his easier. Mayweather is a tiny twerp. If they were the same size he would have a decent chance. Ray hits harder P4P. They are about equal in many physical departments, but not reach and height. Equally fast, Leonard with a lot more leg motion. There is not any way for MW to win, period, other than Ray breaks an ankle.
