I wouldn't give Blubber or Deyonce the career paydays if I'm AJ. Plenty of flashy up and comers like Hrg, Dubois, Yoka, or even Hughie to rub it Blubber face stepping up to career purses.
It looks like it's Eddie Hearn and Joshua who are ducking.

Tyson Fury has agreed to extend the time for them to sign a deal. But Joshua's team knows that taking yet another loss will further hurt his name brand. They are clearly scared of that.

Why? That's all about that that legacy stuff. Let it be over. Take the Fury fight, cash in big and QUIT!

It is indeed a big money fight. I really don't see a reason for Joshua to duck...but Hearn and DAZN are hanging on by a thread and if Joshua loses their only other big name is Canelo. Who isn't tied down and will pursue offers from other platforms and promoters when he sees fit.

He gave them a 7 day deadline at the beginning of Sept to submit a contract.

Blubber can't keep his word and now has to risk getting KOed by Zhang for peanuts.

Fury just said that at Frank Warren's request they are allowing more time to reach a deal.

The ball is in Anthony Joshua's court. Let's see what he and his team do with it. Hopefully he doesn't duck.

Hearn I understand - he wants as many fights as he can get. But it is sometimes the promoters who push fighters (with the promise of $$$) past the point of safety.

There was at the end one bastard who was taking a finished, blind in one eye, Aaron Pyror State to State trying to find a commission who would license a fight.

AJ has been beat up three times now; it's time to cash grab and quit. Just my opinion.

                  - - Only beat up once by Fat Andy.

Usyk was competitive with the only damage to AJ a popped eye in the 10th round that swung one point fight to Usyk favor. Usyk looked like Frankenstein's uglier brother at the end.

Second fight a SD I had AJ winning in a very hard fought bout, but Usyk don't hit that hard, so AJ did the most internal damage.

In this case Tyson Fury happens to be both a legacy fight AND a cash grab opportunity. There's no reason not to take that fight, other than cowardice.
