Why can't you just except that James Toney was an exceptional fighter.

Oh yeah, the biggest understatement every I think.

    James Toney is not exceptional.

He was a good fighter, who had a good career, to the extent he got into the HOF. Not first ballot HOF, but HOF.

    That’s it.

what is so wrong with that?

If you watched him work in the gym you would consider changing your mind.

      But you wouldn't.

      Because, after all, you're Hamza.

        Nothing is wrong with that.

The vast majority of fighters aren’t exceptional. James Toney is one of them that’s not.

Doesn’t change the fact that it he looked terrible in that fight.
How can you not like a fighter who employs a style that's no longer around (he fights identical to Benton and Charles) and exposed so many fighters by showing that all you needed was skills and mental grit (beating guys who trained full time, while toney just sparred). The skills he was using we will never see again on modern recording.

I know you actually hate him though, i probably shouldn't have even responded. just curious why

He fights almost nothing like Ezzard Charles or George Benton.

I like Toney's style and I like watching his fights.

Judging a fighter isn't about what you like. I like Ian Napa's style aswell but that doesn't make him a great fighter, now does it?

that's literally his style, I don't get it. change the type of music they shadow box to and they are one in the same (Benton especially)

No, it's literally not his style.

Firstly, Charles and Benton don't even fight the same, so how can Toney be identical to both of them?

Secondly, I'd go as far to to say outside of using their shoulder to block punches, Toney and Charles' style are almost polar opposite to one another.

                  I would suggest more revision.
