I think the beating that Paret got from Fullmer was responsible for his demise ,I've never been a fan of Ruby Goldstein as a referee.He stopped the SRR vTurpin fight a tad to early imo Turpin was slipping a lot of those shots.Ruby then went to the other extreme and allowed Griffith to tee off on Paret.Goldstein's handling of the Ingo v Floyd1st fight was farcical too and potentially very dangerous.Shall we say the TV era?

I'm not a fan of Goldstein at all he was honest but inconsistent imo.

I do think Turpin/Robinson II was stopped early. Like the man said, Turpin was slipping a lot of that wild barrage. If Robby had landed a couple more clean ones, then I could have said yes, stop it. He would have been tired after all that missing.

Tough cause napoles is so skillful but had a drinking problem and not enough star competition. Napoles is superior in most ways except the most important one, heart and probably chin.

"Outdated eras" - I'm not sure what it is, but there is something wrong with that phrase.

Because outside of belly dancers I'm not sure any one can move their chest and gut in different directions. At least any fighter I've seen. Maybe that's the angles I'm not seeing.
