I agree. Curry vs. McCrory is the impact equivalent. HBO fight. Remins me of standing around in Canastota a few years ago chatting with Marlon Starling, Simon Brown, Milton McCrory at the memorabilia show and wishing Donald Curry would walk by and join us. The Cobra didn't, and he's in very, very bad shape these days, Im sad to say. Both he and Bruce lived on the edge and when you do that, you shave years off. I hope the next great Welterweight unification does happen soon, before it spoils, and I hope its great.

No word yet? Don't expect it. Crowford is a complete primadonna. It might be another two years, if it happens at all.

I'll watch it, im sure it will be a good fight, but as others have noted its been marinated past its prime. Tito, ODLH, Hearns, SRL, were all in their early to mid 20s when the aforementioned fights took place. At the earliest, Crawford and Spence will be 34 & 32 respectively. Its the business of boxing now.

          - - Spence had a prime before becoming a crash dummy for his new Ferrari.

Craw never caught on with the greater public in spite of an excellent record as what, 3 weight champion?

I'd rather Spence move up to expose that Charlene Sista at 154.
