I wonder of he got a cool death scence with the vampire.

Fernando Vargas was in that kidnapping movie - Alpha Dog, which was a true story and a pretty good movie.

The only boxing movie I ver saw in which a REAL boxer played a major role was "The Set up" , where Robert Ryan showed that he really could box .He moved like a boxer. Since he was the Heavyweight champ in Dartmouth College for the whole 4 years he was there.

All the other fake boxers I saw were so obviously rank stooges that it was embarrassing.

              Only loosely relative

There's a film where Jack Johnson plays a villian in a cape who ties white women to train tracks....or so I've heard. I was never able to find this, I doubt it exists anymore. The Black Thunderbolt.

Any real information would be appreciated.

Harvey Perry two time AAU boxing champion.

Stuntman in 176 films; actor in 109 films.

Taught Jimmy Cagney how box for Winner Take All and City for Conquest.

In Winner he played the opponent in the final fight scence and he and Cagney actually sparred; thus making it one of the most realistic fight scenes filmed.

Doubled for Cagney in City for Conquest.

Was the go to guy for Hollywood boxing choreography for 50 years.

If you wanted to stage a boxing match your guy was Harvey Perry.

Well into his late 70s Scorsese brought him on as an advisor for Ragging Bull.

I really hope you're wrong, but I'll look around too.
