It takes some luster off the legacy when you are most famous for being mault. Jess is underrated. His durability and toughness are beyond reproach.

Note: Are we going to allow Fury to continually rub his open lef glove in Willard's face to blind him before launch, the way he did in Wilder III? People overlook that Fury is a ****** cheating gypsy traveler whose daddy plucks the eyeballs out of men at car shows. Young Fury wears his vocal critics down with even more vocal persistence. And these days gypsies are marginalized people who must be given every benefit of a doubt to avoid the appearance of cultural boss.

Fury, however, has the larger forearm, and he is bound to win with advantages like that. He will retain the same reach advantage he holds over Wilder.

Fury would embarrass him.
its more like the styles and st**** were different and probably not legal today. The gloves were also smaller up until the 30s.

im sure Willard would be a tough guy to deal with, and he was Huge, 6 ft 7 but to me he looks bigger framed tham Fury whos sort of skinny fat. You gotta remember side by side in photos Willard makes Carnera and Baer look tiny.

Id edge to Fury though, Willard is famous for getting his face caved in by Dempsey. Fury at least is carving out his dominance at heavyweight, weak division or not.

For sure my brother! There’s a sake shop with 1000 kinds of sake.

mirin is sweet sake used for sushi.

my wife is from Saga ken—- really simple place to live.

She really is a gem, her younger cousins are like supermodels. Lucy Liu is ugly in Asia

I see online clowns who are on YouTube talking about Japan, etc.

my wife and I just laugh good for them they get you tubers to follow them.

                  - -Fury the top of boxing's B-Team while the Unified A-Team well launched on an epic trilogy.

There was no more imposing physical presence in boxing than the Gargantuan framed Carnera until Valuev came along. Yeah, the Ali sized Baer tyny next to both...duh!

He has proven himself a champion and that should be respected.

He needs to beat a few more top ranked HWs and we can start to think a about the ATG label. Not yet.

Still some proving needs to be done, but so far he has shown grit and power. He now needs to show he can handle a top shelf technician.
There will be no comparing fighters of the present to fighters of the past, because Pep objects to that. I guess we should all judge Fury on standards Pep dictates. In fact, change the name of this section, it only causes people to compare contemporary fighters with their peers from the past. Instead, we will compare Fury to imaginary fighters we make up, or bicyclists.

Comparing today's fighters with fighters of the past is one of the main activities around here. It is what we do. Pep isn't changing that. Pep isn't dictating standards to anyone. He can make suggestions. He made one, and it is rather inane, though he is usually sensible.

In fact, all fighters should explicitly be compared to past fighters, unless you prefer to compare them to cartoon characters or Maytag repairmǝn. Really, who else are you going to compare them to but other fighters? Bus boys?

Pep does not have a real complaint, he only thinks he does. He is bothered that two and two make four when for some reason he wants it to be five.
