This is Nash's official most overrated boxers ever top 5 list.

    1. Julie Cesar Chavez Sr. A master at beating debutants, low level journeyman and cab drivers, but not much else. He somehow spawned a son who is ARGUABLY even worse than he is.

    2. Mike Tyson - The C-Level destroyer. Two half-decent wins, one against a terrified and largely forgotten LHW in Spinks, and the other, coming against a very overrated Larry Holmes, who entered the fight fresh off two losses.

    3. Larry Holmes - Larry 'reigned' in the weakest era of all time, even worse than the 90s. He also had 3-4 very debatable wins in his absolute prime against some crap, such as Tim 'bitter man' Witherspoon. He's a poor man's Kevin the Kingpin Johnson.

    4. Oscar De La Hoya - Exciting fighter, had quality, but we can't deny the fact that he came unstuck against every world-level opponent he faced, going W0 L6 vs quality opposition, and was also outclassed by Sturm but won via robbery. Recently faked Covid to avoid a beating from a 44 year old retired UFC fighter. Evan Fields stepped in and face-planted the canvas for him.

    5. Inoue - Good fighter, but he gets credit for beating up E/F/G Level fighters, when he stepped up to C-Level, when he faced the shell of Donaire, he was behind going into R11 before scoring the stoppage against a tired, old man, who probably just wanted to get to bed.

Nash out. We must respect Nash.

      - -They didn't fight.

Vander did some silly little dance outside punching range and Valuev stood him off not wanting to punch an unlicensed fighter. It was another preordained rotten DKing fight as he passed a shot Field around to the Russians.

I tried to watch "highlights" from the fight and got bored!

I wonder if that is what Carnera's punches looked like..

The Russians should send that guy to work in the mines in Siberia .

I see and that's true, but a robbery it still remains... and an undeserved W for an incompetent fighter as Valuev was.

            - -Valuev is a higher order human being than the majority of his forum. He currently serves his people as an elected representative and has a widely acclaimed Childrens' TV show. He tried to get out of the fight knowing how bad $75K unlicensed fighter must be, but King has onerous fighter contracts.

U responsible for Vander's last debacle too, the mugging?

I said Valuev was a bad fighter, not a bad human being. By all means he's an intelligent man.

I also took another look at his resume and he has some decent names in there, so perhaps he was even better as a fighter than I declared him to be after all. I did watch some of those fights but not all of them, to be honest.

                - -Saw a slew of his early fights where he was promoted as a freak show come to dethrone the local favorite in his backyard. He won those fights easily, almost always by KO.

Opponents were always trying grab on him so they could be hitting him inside his range, but rather than wait for a tardy ref break, he throw em across the ring like a rag doll. When he settled in Germany with King, his trainers toned him down so as to let the refs break which made for boring, now controversial fights since 99% of fans and media don't understand how to score a fight and tend to rely on bogus punchmonkey stats that may have margins of error as high as 50% in high intensity wars.

we never actually did see Tyson in his best form vs another great heavy. Tysons aura comes from how promising and dominating he was against c and b class competition, I think most people assumed he would do good against the very best. Problem is we never saw it.

but if we look at fighters w coke problems they all seem to come out the gate hot early in their careers then sort of stagnate and fade off badly.

What is A competition for you? Spinks and Holmes are no doubt A fighters c b fighters? im pretty sure reigning champions are A fighters when you fough him and some if top contenders like Ruddock that aura come from reason dominating all top 10 contenders and champions and such as great as Spinks and Holmes. Ken Norton,Shavers, Lyle are A fighters but
Spinks,Holmes,Ruddock,Thomas and that guys are c b fighters yea
