This is Nash's official most overrated boxers ever top 5 list.
1. Julie Cesar Chavez Sr. A master at beating debutants, low level journeyman and cab drivers, but not much else. He somehow spawned a son who is ARGUABLY even worse than he is.
2. Mike Tyson - The C-Level destroyer. Two half-decent wins, one against a terrified and largely forgotten LHW in Spinks, and the other, coming against a very overrated Larry Holmes, who entered the fight fresh off two losses.
3. Larry Holmes - Larry 'reigned' in the weakest era of all time, even worse than the 90s. He also had 3-4 very debatable wins in his absolute prime against some crap, such as Tim 'bitter man' Witherspoon. He's a poor man's Kevin the Kingpin Johnson.
4. Oscar De La Hoya - Exciting fighter, had quality, but we can't deny the fact that he came unstuck against every world-level opponent he faced, going W0 L6 vs quality opposition, and was also outclassed by Sturm but won via robbery. Recently faked Covid to avoid a beating from a 44 year old retired UFC fighter. Evan Fields stepped in and face-planted the canvas for him.
5. Inoue - Good fighter, but he gets credit for beating up E/F/G Level fighters, when he stepped up to C-Level, when he faced the shell of Donaire, he was behind going into R11 before scoring the stoppage against a tired, old man, who probably just wanted to get to bed.
Nash out. We must respect Nash.
