After that Chavez fight, Chavez asked him what he thought of his past competition now and Haugen replied, "They must have been tough taxi cab drivers" Julio laughed and they embraced LOL ! He and Pazienza had some good trash talking between them too. He hit Lou Duva with this zinger before the second Pazienza fight. Before a rematch with Vinny Pazienza in which he regained the IBF 135-pound title, rotund Lou Duva, Pazienza’s trainer, told Haugen, ″the only belt you’ll get will be mine.″
″Good, I can use it to tow my car,″ Haugen cracked.
When Greg was right, minus the legends like Whittaker and Chavez, he could give just about anyone a run for their money. I think if his head was right, he could have done better against Chavez. Hmm interesting he never tested positive for the coke then. At least Greg will be happy to know weed is legal in most states now. The Born in the USA entrance music was also a great heel tactic as well.

It took big ones to fight in a bull ring in front of 130,000 Mexicans against one of their lesser gods. I suspect many fighters wouldn't have accepted that scenario.
