It is a hard question, because I am offering no suggestions and giving no hints.

Which surname do you believe stands out above others for success and accomplishment in boxing over the long run, if any?

If there are no good guesses, I can later publish a list of multiple choice entries for people baffelt by boxing history to select from.
Armstrong because he had the most intimidating Nom de Plume... "Homicidal Hank" Gotta love it!

Sing. Now hear me out!!! (puts hands up with exaggerated expression on his face) I know there are not many boxers in India, BUT the Sikhs are the fighting arm of the Hindus, and every Sikh has the name Sing. I bet 90% of the boxers in India are Sikhs.

I don't mean to be a pedant, but I think your autocorrect replaced "Singh" with "Sing". I normally wouldn't, but that name has some importance to me.

Doug Jones was another. "Too Tall" Jones had a boxing match.

Jackson fares pretty well with Julian, "Hurricane" Tommy and Peter, for starters.

I do not see many top Smiffs, other than Walker himself. There have been the decent Smiffs, Joe and Bonecrusher. I must be forgetting many others.

I think I did post that on the phone, apologies DeeMoney.

If we're only counting world champs/climants, Johnson and Gonzalez must be up there with 9 each:

                Stevie Johnson
                Levander Johnson
                Reggie Johnson
                Marvin Johnson
                Harold Johnson
                Glen Johnson
                Mark Johnson
                Tom "Boom Boom" Johnson
                Jack Johnson

                Rodolfo Gonzalez
                Carlos Gonzalez
                Julio Cesar Gonzalez
                Humberto Gonzalez
                Johnny Gonzalez
                Alejandro Gonzalez
                Betulio Gonzalez
                Roman Gonzalez
                Miguel Angel Gonzalez

Also Lopez, Kim and Smith can't be far behind - as all 3 seem to have produced several champions.

I had Lopez and Johnson in mind. Bundana has done more with Johnson than I ever could have. If only he had a Pepe Gonzales to break that tie. At the moment there are a lot of active fighters named Garcia who are pretty good.

                    Bundana in with a ****.

Maybe Williams should be worth a mention?

                    carl, Cleveland, Charles, Ike?
