You say the big 3 didn't want anything to do with him. In 1999 when he finally hit The Ring top 10 he hadn't earned a shot at those greats. I don't recall Vits calling them out either. But he could have fought guys like Maskaev (of course we know how he was about rematching guys that had already beaten him), Golota, Grant, Jefferson, Tua, Ibeabuchi. The following year he quit against Byrd, so there was no way the big 3 were going fight him. Especially when he didn't even try to avenge that loss. Do you want to keep going?
