So no, this is not a blatant duck.
Exactly. The damages would be been nuts had Fury tried to go forward. ESPN too.

      - -Not really since Deyonce failed to activate the rematch clause in the allotted time window, hence the extensive AJ/Fury negotiations leading to a $150 mil 50/50 split. Arum knows that for $75 mil he could toss a lion's den of lawyers suing Deyonce for astronomical damages, but point in fact neither Fury nor Deyonce wanted to risk being knocked out by AJ when they can mud 'rassle each other for a few mil apiece to stay alive in the division and maybe secure a big fight in the future.

Their trilogy in the here and now is obviously penile patooties in revenue and public interest and already knocked out by Corona.

Bullcrap. The amount of money on the table says it all... You use arbitration because law suites can take years... One reason for arbitration. No fighter is scared with that kind of money on the table... Wouldn't you get in the ring with AJ for collecting close to 75 million when all the money comes in? after expenses, after PPV, etc? Yet your telling us that not one but TWO fighters are too scared... You and Redumber are one and the same... you never consider common sense, human nature/motivation.

          - -They have a history of turning down career purse AJ offers before this last fiasco that only U want to see. Fury don't even want it now and trying to weasel out. Poor oaf touched in his thick noggin...

You have no common sense... what a surprise.

There are three major flaws with this post:

The fight was court ordered, so the champion didn’t choose who he fought.

The fight will also draw big numbers so it clearly isn’t that unwanted.

The fight is also a Champion vs #2 Contender matchup with Ring, TBRB, Boxrec, ESPN and essentially every other respectable ranking system so Wilder is clearly a real contender also.

I think most of us just accept it. Wilder brought Fury out of retirement, got stopped, then sued for the third. I might still be a Wilder fan but I too want an undisputed. I really wanted to see the historical all UK showdown but who TF knows if that'll ever happen. When Wilder won his court battle I just accepted Joshua ain't happening and didn't put much thought to it.

Honestly, I think mandatories as we know them should come after unification. Only an undisputed champion should have mandatory defenses against people without titles. All titlists' mandatories should be other titlists until there's only one and that guy can defend against belt-less contenders. Then we wouldn't even have this issue because Wlad would have been undisputed...or Bermane.
I’d introduce unified mandatories. So instead of AJ having to fight Pulev then Usyk have Pulev face Usyk and the winner becomes the unified mandatory for the IBF and WBO instead of this mandatory merry go round bullsh**.

I’m cool with your idea too though.

You sound like a scantioning body advocate.

I heard sales were poor . . . Court order would not have carried to Saudi Arabia. . . . there is plenty of step aside money avaiable . . . Wilder looked like crap last time out . . . this is prize fighting 'contract' in this buisness doesn't historically hold up as it would with corporate America.

But mostly it sounds like you're hauling water for the WBC . . . Do you work for them ?

Just stating facts. You’re talking nonsense.

F*** the WBC, I’d never work for any of those ABC crooks.
