    Correct.

These old boxers were good in their day, however they would be classed as journeymen in today's era.

Let's be honest, would we really want to see a midget like Louis up against Tyson Fury?

The little man would be leaving in a bodybag.

They wouldn't make pro well unless they advanced their technique and movement

It's not just his size, it's his lack of skills.
I just cant see all the hype around them being masterful boxers.

No one here can convince me that anyone prior to mike can deal with him or his peers, just the other day i saw some argue that joe beats Vitali.

            It's common sense.

Remember that the guys who post in here are a bunch of old men who all want to live back in 'the good old days'

Well since you cant see it the crazy people will say you don't know boxing

Me who is sane and can see agrees you can see it cause those back then wasnt masterful like you said

Like anybody who can see can easily see joe and that whole era would be destroyed by a klit mike george fury and any other middle/high card level fighter from 70s-90s

Houdini was asked mutiple times by me to provide video vid of joe using advanced movement like ali and jim instead he post vids showing his outdated movement like these people really can't read or see

I’m 32. Thought like you when I was 19 on this forum. Go dig up my old posts. Ignorance. You don’t know what you are watching. The footage is too bad and the frame rates are lower, the camera view is from the bleachers and the matches are often matched for competition (the ones people bother to remember).

what made me change my mind was a few things:

george foreman made a comeback with a fraction of his previous physical abilities, he did it all with old school tricks and savvy, we got to see it on a more modern camera view.

2.) ive been in and out of boxing gyms my whole life, I’m no world champion but ive sparred a few former world champions (real sparring, not light sparring) and I can say the old fighters styles and skills were very functional and just straight up better because I used them in the ring and everyone hated it. Their styles were entirely based on intelligence and skills. Modern fighters its not skills its an imitation of skill and developed for the TV because they love watching themselves. Oldschool skills are endless. Certain gyms didnt like me after a while because I exposed all their modern and uninformed styles taught by coaches that never even heard of Terry Norris and call Roy Jones an oldschool fighter. This is the truth and believe me is not a brag my any stretch. Oldschool fighters looked at fighting logically. New fighters spend half the time making sure they look cool.

after that I dove into watching old tapes with a couple 1000 rounds of sparring xp and more and more I realized the bull**** thats been gaslighting the public for 20 years. Im telling you now most people don’t even know what they are watching!

Wrong idiot foreman didn't waste punches/had way better punch tech had real defense than his younger self how is that proof of an older era fighter doing good?

He didn't make those changes for no reason and you've never been in any gym cause you wouldn't be saying nonsense

No one made mid-fighting like they did from 30-40s in the 70s none at all, not a coincidence, all those guys were obsolete in style and very flawed
