Manny's documented shoulder problems up there with his leg cramps widely disseminated and discussed in the day. Most athletes carry nagging injuries into competition as an accepted practice. Rotator cuff injuries are endemic, but can generally be dealt with. I had em bad when I was going full maniac on my heavybag for a few years. Various times I thought an arm was ready to drop off just walking down the street, but the next day on the bag I'd tear it up again. Finally I busted the bag up beyond repair that stopped that painful feeling and felt fine since with no surgery.

I, however, didn't have to count of 1-2 fights a year to make my living, so it's like a bad knee that an athlete lives with that finally needs an operation. Got one of them too that leaves me needing a cane for a few days now and again, but that didn't stop me from running a 50 sec quarter mile a few years ago. I don't get paid to chase down muggers and none of the pitbulls want to play when I come after them, so no biggie.
His surgeon said he was at full strength going into the fight, and Pacquaio himself said he had no injury going into the fight. So that should be good enough for you...and me.

“Manny was having shoulder pain during his training period. This was several weeks before the fight…it was essentially an aggravation of an old injury. This is pretty standard for fighters, and there is no such thing as pristine tissue in high level athletes. We treated the aggravation (with permission from U.S. Anti-Doping Agency) and he was back to his normal strength going into the fight.”
*Pacquiao said, “No, I don’t have pain or injury before the fight. I just want to make sure that whatever happened, I’m still there. I’m not saying I’m not 100 percent condition.”

You got that? Let me guess. You will give the Willie defense. Don't believe what comes from the main subject's mouth

Who was the first to mention Floyd so called stalling the fight? That would be you because the mere mention of the man triggers you. Remember when you would follow me around threads and bring up Mayweathr out of nowhere? Don't make me prove it again. I have receipts.
There you go again, thinking someone is getting owned. What a clown. You’ve been up since 4:30 this morning arguing with people on here. Get some sleep.

Yes - no athlete claims he's hurt except losers. They lose popularity; afraid they will look like they are making excuses, but more often it's their pride speaking.

Why do you have such a simplistic view of men.

People lie all the time, for ego, shame, sensitivity (You don't tell the fat girl she not the prettiest girl in the room on prom night, do you?), to protect . . .

Only some people lie for gain, for those people we reserve the word 'liar' for the rest above it is better to describe it as BS.

You're too concrete in evaluating these sources; embrace the big picture, bring all your knowledge to bare and read between the lines.

I've had a very productive day. I can work, workout, watch the Knicks games, and own you. How about you just keep ducking questions. It's what you're best at.

And how about his surgeon. You have an excuse for that one?

And funny you mention that...when he didn't say anything in the ring, but as soon as Arum got in his ear he was screaming injury in the back of the MGM

I obviously don't care what you think of me. Your accusations against me were proven incorrect how many times? Why would I care what you think of me just because you're hurt that Dempsey ducked Wills? To me, you're just another poster who gives ridiculous arguments because you are emotional.

Tell me again how Pac was worried about being damaged by the needle. That noise died down real quick, didn't it?

None of me changes your poor historical research.

And yes the first issue at hand was he was afraid of needles then after being ridiculed for that the loss of blood came into play. You claimed Arum made up the needle story but how would you know what Arum was thinking or when he is making things up ? You're a terrible historian.

We should leave each other alone. I only replied because you chose to bring me up.

And again stop taking everything at face value you sound so simple. People BS, people lie.

Oh! And if you have not figured this out it all goes back to the Jeffries post. A cheap shot I chose not to look past.

Own me how, by not producing the contract you claim existed? I hope you found time to polish all your e-trophies too! Bwahahahaha!
