No idea who would win, maybe Frazier 'But I am not sure why people are trying to make out that Norton has to control Frazier with the jab or else etc'.

Frazier had a lower center of gravity and was a stronger body puncher. If it becomes a war on the inside I think Frazier has the edge. Overall he was the better boxer, but especially on the inside.

Its because Norton hit hard but was not a marque puncher. Foreman hit hard enough to get Frazier to stop. So Norton's options are limited. You would have problems ****ing with Joe in close... Mid range, well, not much would happen at that range.

Norton is the far inferior inside fighter. He either boxes from distance or is eaten alive by Frazier. Never hook with a hooker!

Norton did not lift weights to build his physique.

Kenny dragged his right foot behind him like an anvil. Smokey Joe will break that fragile chin.

Although I would have to dig the articles up, I've read from many sources he loved lifting weights but would deny it. Norton went from 204-230 lbs and was never over 5% body fat, he was actively putting on muscle, and did it by lifting weights.

Another fighter that lifted weights was Archie moore. Yet in every press clipping he would deny it.

Both of them looked better lighter.

Norton never “lifted weights” in training for fights. There is no evidence that he did so.

In what bout during his pro career did Norton come in at 230 pounds?
