some of them only retired recently too thats what makes it so funny. These guys act like modern conditioning methods magically turned every fighter into a superior specimen over the course of 10 years. This if course is an absolute delusion. Many things in history will be lost. I've been collecting a lot of old boxing training books, might need to compile them one day because of this.
Wilder gets sparked by anyone that tries to spark him if hes going up against another era. Who has he fought? Fury thats it. Nobody else had any ability. didn't stiverne take him 12 the first time around? and then go down from a shot to the glove in the second? wilder is pure hype, but he believes in his power so he's got that going for him. I don't think he stops anyone with any ability though, even some with lesser chins, they might get him first tbh.
It was the same bullshlt on the hockey forum I used to post on: "Today's Players Are Bionic Supermen"
Well some time has passed... The Acorn was a monster puncher, but will Wilder give us some more fights to look at and judge him by?
- - While I'd say Wilder hits harder and Ortiz is better than any Ernie beat, if they fought, I'd pick Ernie early as Wilder simply does not know how to box and takes a lot of shots early in his fights.
