I don't really see how you can say Shavers. Look at the size of the guys Wilder has Kod.

I believe Shavers' 'one-punch power' is, so far in heavyweight history, the #1 (almost, anyway). Perhaps again, nostalgia.

But he was very much a "4-round fighter".
If Wilder (who has proven good stamina) survived those opening rounds, I'd pick him to win. It was the recipe to beat Shavers.

Many scenarios I could see play out. Wilder only has to land flush and not even with full pop.

It's boxing. And furthermore, it's about heavies. You are right, many scenarios are likely. One perfect punch ...

Wilder for real hasn't knocked anyone out with a pulse. And for the record Fury was never known to have an iron chin. Wilder cant even be compared to any puncher because he straight up hasn't fought anyone. For example Malignaggi (someone considered feather fisted) has 5 stoppages, if he kept fighting opponents of low caliber he would have 100 stoppages.

Everyone Wilder koed was a fat light heavyweight or amateur league basketball player.

You can't even do a proper comparison with Wilder vs ANYONE on the simple fact alone that we don't know because he's never fought anyone besides Fury, who dominated him and made him look like a scrub, and walked through his punches. The first fight doesnt count, Fury was coming of a Layoff, coke problems and tbh in my mind was sort of chinny after seeing cunningham drop him. Fury has a skinny - fat build.

The level of competition each man faced is light years apart. Ernie has been in the ring with top ten all-time HWs.
Wrong idiot cause thats the reason you idiots think earn hit harder when he didnt we go off ring only not dumb quotes its mutiple who hit harder

Donnie Walter is well on his way to obscurity, except for his KO% record. That alone could keep his name alive, so I do not think he will fight again and risk it. Otherwise he is as exposed as Carnera. Quite a few young churlwits on here are unable to see he never KO'd anyone worth a damn. God, how hilarious to see them bragging up the weight of bums he KO'd, as if fat slobs are harder to KO.

some of them only retired recently too thats what makes it so funny. These guys act like modern conditioning methods magically turned every fighter into a superior specimen over the course of 10 years. This if course is an absolute delusion. Many things in history will be lost. I've been collecting a lot of old boxing training books, might need to compile them one day because of this.

Wilder gets sparked by anyone that tries to spark him if hes going up against another era. Who has he fought? Fury thats it. Nobody else had any ability. didn't stiverne take him 12 the first time around? and then go down from a shot to the glove in the second? wilder is pure hype, but he believes in his power so he's got that going for him. I don't think he stops anyone with any ability though, even some with lesser chins, they might get him first tbh.
