How can I judge those guys when I have never seen them fight? And all those fight videos are of bad quality anyway, if there are any left on Armstrong or that Pep...who is he again?Comment

Henry Armstrong would be to your taste and I think you would enjoy his fights very much.
As to the quality of the films I think they are pretty watchable from the 1930's.
I guess you could find some on youtube or GreatA or Southpaw are very kind posting films.
I think you would get a lot out of trawling back on some of these fighters from the 40s and 50s as the style of fighter you seem to like was probably the norm in those days and as I said the film quality is pretty good.
I can understand that you want to see the people fight before rating them but no one on this forum would have seen Harry Greb fight as unfortunately no films of his have come to light but he is another fighter well worth reading up onComment

Lists are very subjective things. As for an all time P4P list i would find it pretty difficult to make one, i would constantly be changing it as i learn more about a particular fight etc. It is interesting to see other peoples opinions on the matter tho and i thank everyone who put the time and effort into making a list, even if i wouldn't totally agree!. The only list i have taken a lot of time and thought about is the top 10 heavies, but even now i make little adjustments and some people don't agree with it (especially the absence of Marciano) but at the moment I'm pretty happy with it!.
Keep the lists coming guys!.Comment
