Chris Byrd wasn't a natural heavyweight and Rocky put to sleep much better fighters than he ever did. On top of that, he weas a non stop puinching machine compared to topdays heavyweights. I find it difficult to think he coukldn't compete.

Or how about Michael Spinks (natural 175) to KO Gerry Cooney? Jab mentioned Chris Byrd (a natural Middleweight!); how about Chris Byrd beating ANY of the guys he beat?

Byrd, Moorer and Spinks were versatile fighters. Rocco was not, he relied on constant pressure and being able to take your shots while you couldn't take his. I would compare him to Tomasz Adamek but even Adamek pressures intelligently and doesn't bull rush like Rocco. Rocky's style would not cut it in today's game, fellas.
